Someone will correct me if Im wrong but, that looks like Devilsyam main bike before he passed. His family must be selling it on, what i don't understand is why they didnt come on the forum and offer it here first. That bike is a part of FOC-U history.

Regarding the price, while it is a very trick bike with single sided swing arm and rim disc brake, as @Gnasher would say these trick bits do not increase the value of the bike if they are replacing existing parts. A 2001/25k FZS in good condition goes for £2000-2600. So this dealer is essentially asking £3600 for custom front and read ends, and some other parts on a bike that is in average condition, in fact it needs a proper valet which the dealer or the actual owner should have done before putting it up for sale.

Its definitley his old bike.

I cant fix that link either for some reason. If you copy/past the address you can see the video

[Seems the only way to get the link to show and work is to add the following text at the end ' &feature=share ' - bkd]

I might be wrong but I thought Luke sold that one on some years before he passed away.  Nice to see it's still in good condition and clearly been looked after if that's the case.

Those of us who've been around Fazers for a few decades ( :))  ) will recall how much of Luke's genius and commitment went into the creation of that bike, which went through quite a few evolutions before it finished up the way you see it now.

What a great way to be reminded of a really great bloke. :)

Pretty much, just replacing standard bits with say a a 3k Ohlins shock doesn't add 3k to the bike.  Same with any other replacement parts that have to be on the bike, calipers/discs, front end, wheels etc.

This is a bit more custom so a one off and will attract a small premium, but it's only worth what someone is prepared to pay for it.

Just had a look at the MOT history and it has barely been used in the last 5 years. Mileage in July 2016 was 17,114 so its only covered 2k miles in 5 years. The last MOT had a single advisory classified as dangerous..."sharp objects protruding from the front fairing"  :lol

Seem to remember him having some spikes / horns sticking out the front, guess the tester wasn't a fan  :evil

Edit:\ Yep you can see them in the video BBROWN posted exactly 1 minute in.
