Santa's Sack

If you could choose any 3 motorcycles past or present (not including any you already own) to wake up to on Christmas Day morning what would they be?.

Wow yeah that's something special. Saw one at a local show a few years ago. Didn't know what model it was until now. Beautiful.

Firstly,
BMW R1250R - cos it's the best all round bike I've ever riden,
Vincent Black Lightning - I mean look at it!
Honda VFR750R - Not sure about this one, not sure I'll be able to ride it - but they are super lovely.

Good shout with the R1250R VNA.
I've not ridden one but I did have a go on an older R1100R and that was great too.
They look kinda cool too IMO!!!

The only boxer I had ridden before my shot on the R1250R was a R1100S.  It was OK, plenty of low down grunt, some mid-range and nothing up top.
It didn’t do much for me.

The 1250 makes a 106lbsft of torque, and 136bhp at 7700rpm.  It’s a seriously nice and seriously quick bike.  Low down grunt is nuts, plus there's plenty up top.

I’m not sure about the looks.  I kinda of think of it like I used to think of SAABs.  SAABs are so ugly and weird that you just keep staring at them, and eventually you love em for being different.

Anyway if YamFazFanSantaMan brings me one for Christmas that’ll be fine – save me buying one.

I don't know about three, I'm pretty happy with my FZ6, but I'd be willing to give one of the Electric Bikes a try :thumbup

Surely you want the SP2 - they fixed the fuelling and the colours were so much better.  I quite a fancy an SP2, but I don't think I'd manage much more than 10 miles on one.

No, no, no, not the red and white R1, you want a 1999 blue one, the best colours and graphics of the originals.
 :lol :lol

Thinking about it again Dynspud,
Are you not missing a trick here?  I mean you ain’t paying for em.
Clearly a sports bike nut – so SP1 a good choice (I’d have the SP2 if I could ride it)
R1?  Common as muck bud.

Far be it for me to tell you what bikes you want.  But are you sure you wouldn’t rather have an R7?
New 2020 CBR1000 RR-R  fair enough.  That’s a lot of R’s :lol

All that design and effort but looks like some one forgot about the centre stand. Even the Fazer has a better looking stand.
