Shock linkage bolts
« on: 05 April 2019, 06:55:21 pm »
I'm fitting a new rear spring and jack up kit to my Gen 2, as with most thing if a jobs worth doing then it's worth doing right so I'd like to replace all the nuts and bolts while I have it apart.

Does anyone have any idea either what size or where I could buy the bolts that hold the linkages together?

I've included a picture showing the two bolts in question so you know what I'm on about
Cheers

Also does anyone know if I'll need a longer kick stand after fitting a Jack up kit??

I'm only using a 25mm jack up kit at present, but do use a lengthened side stand. Not essential but it would be if using a 50mm lift, especially if loaded with camping gear etc.

Cheers robbo, it's only a 30mm kit so I'm hoping I won't need one. My bike doesn't get graced with anything other than my ass so don't have to worry about loading it up haha doesn't even have passenger pegs/seat 😂

I had to get them from fowlers in the end. £20 for 3 nuts and bolts that was the cheapest around! They were even £7 each on fleabay!
