Keep an eye on gumtree mate. I bought a Suzuki DR400S off there a few years back as a winter project for £30, as the owner had stripped it to a bare frame and engine to "restore" it and who then lost interest and chucked it into boxes for years.

Managed to get £1500 for that when j sold it complete. There are project out there :)

depends on what your budget is!
& have you got transport to get it to your mancave?

back in 90's my mate & I spent £100 on a 250N super dream frame plus bout 3 1/2 engines 2 wheels 4 forks 2 wiring looms etc
as we both had dreams as we built it we used our bikes to test or donate parts to get it running! took us a while but taught me lots on how engines worked etc. think he bought me out when it was running lol
It ain't what you ride, it's who you ride with!!!
