Hi ,
I was thinking of selling my beloved 600 boxeye-fazer , its Red and Black colour scheme 61 800 thousand miles its had loads spent on it , serviced, heated grips , renthal 758 , Newish chain and sprockets front one less one for quicker acceleration etc. Its just had an oil and sparked plug / coolent change last week , body work is good condition, power bronze screens one red, one gold (very blingy) recently new tires , beowolf exhaust. shorty levels , Led spotlights , 25mm dogbones , Black Rear Hugger , givi monolock rack and top box...... Loads of receipts of work done parts bought etc .... Mot advisory last time 1 noisy exhaust Mot till September but it will pass Bad points engine paint is rubbish needs redoing , and noisy cam chain when first started up but goes away when warm , it has cracked carb rubbers but my mechanic says they are ok .... This bike is fantastic never let me down , super quick and reliable ... The bike is located in Berkshire Pm me if interested Looking for £1150 I will do pictures when I get home 4

The headlight is it the one that both sides come on ? I got a fazer 2000 600 box eye and I heard that the 400 one both sides come on at the same time is this true ? Cheers Ginger 7

It looks like you have to take the rear side fairings off 4 screws / nuts , its very easy ......

Got my bike MOT , passed with 1 advisory , noisy exhaust ha ha ha …. beowolf with no baffles he he he new chain and sprockets , 14 tooth front , it seems nipper and a new rear tire ……
next upgrade will be rental bars , next month will be lights and a scottoiler Ginger x 13

I looking into headlights mods , I seen the retro lab lights which look good, but I want to do something different , I like the twin headlight from the triple speed bike , would these fit onto the fazer? I like the naked look....

It looks all right , if its got lots of paperwork etc service , receipts etc , check the cam chain noise , the carbs rubbers , has it reg oil changes etc… mines is the same colour scheme , but 57800 miles and still pulling strong

Yes I had the same on my rear brake , Piston stuck solid , as other have said , bleed , take the calliper off , and pop the pistons out , ( maybe use the back brake pedal and pop the pistons out this way)> Because my piston was stuck solid , i had to get a piston removal tool then , replace seals, mine was so gunked up …..

Hi ,
I have a basic tool kit a cheap socket set , and this time I serviced my own bike , Yes it took a bit longer , had some problems but take you time and have a go , its not hard trust me…. oil and air filter not difficult , coolant not too bad , just watch how you drain the stuff out … spark plugs just fiddly etc brakes not too bad but give them a good clean req because my bake ones sized !!! ta ginger x 21

Hi Guys ,
Well update I got all the jobs done except for the back brakes . Cailpers in question , I had to strip them completely down , and it took some heat to get the pistons out grrrr , So I making note to clean them up twice a year using the cleaning method on Delboys garage on you tube , But When I start my bike up , the speedo goes into funny mood , it spins right around the dial , but sometimes it all right any help guys GINGER x 23

Done my front brakes , cleaned and made sure the pistons works , New pads hopper greased on the backs , front wheel brake discs changed for slightly used but good condition. tested works great and nice biting point … Cleaned and re greased bolts , not bad but just tooked my time and got it right first .

Thank you for the info, got my pads and spark plugs from e bay air and oil filter from the local bike shop and it just went for the cheapest option as I am on a budget and with the oil moturl brand the total was £67 pounds which is not to bad ……… Roll on next week when it all get done ….
