Last few sold out in hours - probably the cold norther breeze! :D

Have you had any updates from buyapowa since Lawrence? I haven't seen any mails from them since, and I can't wait to get my paws inside these as it's been proper cold since Friday.

I found out that they have charged £120 to my credit card - probably because I joined really early when the price was fairly high + postage.

Fingers crossed refund the savings, and more importantly deliver the darn mittens...!!

I've been charged £107.49 which is correct.  I joined when they were well above that, think I was in the first five.

Just had a shipping confirmation email.  Only took a week  :crazy   For £7.50 it'd better be next day delivery.

Yep, had my confirmation email. No indication of expected delivery date mind. Be nice if they turned up today/tomorrow, ready for Monday morning.

I got a mail saying their supplier is out of L and 3XL sizes, and hence I should expect them by end of next week!  :'(

I have emailed back asking if I could get an XL instead - can not not not stand the cold any more (well, I can, but I just want my toys right this moment - it's a congenital trait - don't judge me buyapowa  :evil )

Got mine today  :thumbup   Off out to fit them now  :D

Mine are medium and are a spot on fit... I've had medium Oxford Bone Dry in medium before and they're pretty much the same size.

On one of the attached tags it says they should be treated with a waterproofing agent before being worn in the wet so save them becoming waterlogged... anyone got any suggestions of what to use?

Wow Lawrence, they shipped it this morning and you got it already? Did they send someone in a car with sirens to deliver it straight to you? Fair play to buyapowa and/or their courier service.

They have accepted my size change request and I m getting an XL coming my way soon. I hope it's not too loose...!

Mine turned up Saturday too. Used Nikwax to waterproof them. Goes easy on the palms though, found it made them a bit slippy on the grips...

How are you all routing the cables? Threaded mine in jacket between zip in liner and outside, but still finding it a spot awkward, unless the box comes out the bottom, dead centre of my back... It's definitely fiddly getting the gloves on and plugging them in, but they were lovely and toasty on ride in this morning and that was only on orange.

Also, what's with the funny pocket under the knuckle protectors?!

..still waiting for mine! :*( Not surprised because I am routing it thru a delivery service via Newry as BuyaPowa won't deliver to the Republic of Ireland. Ah well...!

Arfa, wouldn't it be easier to route it to the front, plugging unplugging near the crotch / left-thigh area?

Don't know about the pocket, my old Oxfords had that too.  At the moment mine is just threaded in, need to find some way of securing it.  I run the cable out the front, to the right of the zip.  As you say it's a bit of a pain in the arse plugging in but definitely worth it  :thumbup

To route the cable across my front would be a pain when taking jacket off - unzip, then pull cable out of way/over head. I'd be threading the cable down my right arm everytime I put the jacket on. :(

I was thinking by routing around my back, I can leave the cabling in place in my jacket, thus just stick arms in, zip up, plugs gloves in, then plug control box in. However, going round back, the cable from my right hand to control box near left thigh is only just long enough. The weight of the control box often tugs the right hand cable up my sleeve (when glove not plugged in) and the control box falls to the middle of my back. I guess if I tack it all in (safety pins etc) it should be fine.

I am not sure if I follow - I will get mine tomorrow hopefully, so may be I will know it when I see it. I was thinking routing the cable between the thermal lining and the jacket like you did, and say if the wires from both arms come up and meet near your neck / center of the shoulders etc, I was hoping the a single cable from there could get routed, say over the shoulder, down the front and right down to the bottom of the front zipper (all of this between the winter lining and jacket, not touching the skin), and the junior controller and the male plug can stick a few centimeters from the bottom of the front of the jacket. This was my plan - but I could be way off - hopefully I will know tomorrow...!

PS: I think I saw a Gerbings review somewhere, but that might have been in conjunction with the heated vest, and in that case the setup was like I am (poorly) explaining above - I think.

Pocket is likely to be for a battery pack.
