Got Ivanised today!!
« on: 19 April 2014, 04:32:37 pm »
Hi Folks,

Went up to see Mike Greatorex in Liskeard, Cornwall this morning to have my 2002 Fazer ivanised (Full Monty), I'm sure a lot of you know of Mike as he does numerous trips over from Spain to work on Fazers. I've been toying with the idea of getting it done for quite a while now & used this forum as a resource for research, opinions etc & as regulars on this forum will know I don't post anything on here but I would just like to say a HUGE THANKS too Mike, he really is a fantastic fella & he's done a cracking job on my bike, to say I'm pleased with the results is a massive understatement!
The difference it has made is incredible!!
So for anybody out there considering getting Mike to Ivanise your Fazer, Do It! I can't recommend Mike highly enough, a real genuine, helpful, nice guy. It'll be without doubt, the best £295 you ever spend on the bike!!
So Thanks again Mike, your a Star!

One very Happy Christina, with a very big Cheesy grin! :D

Mine's booked to be done mid-May...
Someone sent me a postcard picture of the earth. On the back it said, "Wish you were here."

Hi Chris,

out of curiosity did you keep the standard front sprocket ?  Only reason I ask is that I bought another Fazer the other day and it has the Full Monty kit fitted, the owner said he went up a tooth on the front as it proved to be a handful and the front wheel wanted to lift way too much?

cheers

would really love to get it done to mine. from what Ive read it addresses a lot of the vibey issues with it. If only there were a few more Scottish members wanting it done too, to make it worth mikes while?

glad to hear it was worth the money though, im sure you will enjoy it :)

Got the full monty done years ago and it still runs perfect :D  Huge difference compared to my standard one.
If it's broken, it's not fixed.

Hi Chris

Thanks for the kind words and for making the trip to Liskeard yesterday - great day for a test ride on the way home, eh?  I hope you get plenty of sunshine this summer to enjoy the bike now.  Don't forget to give Steve a road test soon ;)

I'm up for a trip based in Glasgow or Edinburgh later in the year if enough owners sign up to make it viable. :)

Cheers, everyone!

Mike

Not far at all ... good roads up your way, too.  Well, good all around the region, really. :)

Safe trip back with the new bike.  Let's talk about a meet on your return.
