Hello from N.Ireland

Picked up a new to me Fazer 1000, 2004 with 5000 miles.

Immaculate and standard apart from heated grips, hugger and rad guard.

Drained the oil, coolant, serviced the brakes, removed and greased the exup valve, exhaust headers off and studs renewed and lubed.  Shock out, linkages lubed etc. Afraid to ride it now, might get dirty......

Jeez, I've done over 6000 miles in the last 4 months! And very little of that was commuting. Good find John, it's always a shame in a way to put loads of miles on such a nice one, but the thous are just so enjoyable, I've never been able to help myself, and mine's already showing the signs of the use I've had from it, never mind the previous owner. I hope you can keep it that clean, but they are for riding, after all.

Welcome to the site anyway, you'll get loads of help from a great little community here, as well as a bit of fun and banter. Enjoy.

Nick

Welcome, John. Imagine how good that will look if you can keep it in that shape? Gorgeous looking bike.
