S P Engineering exhaust - noise level
« on: 31 July 2012, 03:50:29 pm »
Hi Friends,
Has anyone fitted an S P engg: exhaust on your FZ6 ? i basically need to know the db noise level when installed. I was impressed with the exhaust when i heard it on youtube. Spoke to S P engg : but they say it is loud and they haven't checked it themselves.

As I am interested in doing few track days noise level is a concern.

so if anyone has an idea please do share...i own an 08 fz6 s2 (naked)

ride safe..

tx

Hi M8, I have SP Enginering exhausts fitted to my 05 FZ6 and I can highly recommend them, I assure you they are F****ing loud even with the baffles/DB killers fitted. All my mates think it sounds awesome, just like a moto GP bike! I would'nt even think about riding on the street with the baffles out! The cans are not stamped with a BS mark, but SP Engineering say they are road legal. When I got my MOT done the guy just said they are loud but just gave me an advisory and it passed ok!! I have also got the decat pipe prom SP fitted to mine which makes it slightly louder still!!

I can see a 'dark' Fazer if you'd colour those silver bits in black Tilts. I think it'd be cool as foc-k.
Stop polishing it and ride the bloody thing!!
