Problem with Renthal bars

May sound a bit silly, but has anyone any idea or solutions, to getting,Oxford heated grip to go over the knurled left-hand side of bars ? Seems very tight  :smash :smash

I got a file to take off the plastic casting marks inside the grip, went on with not much bother after that...

I fitted some last year, I used hairspray squirted on the inside of the rubber and it went on fine, when it dries the hairspray acts like a glue and stops the grip moving. I have done this on many bikes over the years, hope this helps.

Are renthals any higher than standard bars as I'd like something higher / wider

Is there not a  specific type for this bike?
I don't want to have to replace cables etc

If you go higher you're most probably have to replace you brake lines.

If you can live with the width, then wouldn't bar risers be an easier option to get height?

I have 25mm risers on my thou and it does make a big difference
