Paint colour codes/suppliers
« on: 27 January 2014, 06:55:45 pm »
Evening all,

After repairing the fairing on my yellow/black 2002 fox eye 600, I'm now after somewhere to buy the paint from to re-spray it.

I don't know if the person doing it would be using a sprayer or a can (as he is a known dad hand with both!!) but I need to supply the paint.

So, in the vast knowledge that lies here, would anyone know the right colour code and/or a reputable company that can supply said paint? Based up in north yorks but with the power of the internet etc.! I'll confirm sprayer/ can ASAP.

Any automotive paint supplier will be able to mix the paint to the code or even better the actual bike if your not re spraying the whole thing..

If your dad hand is a painter he will not be using rattle cans, if he wants to, look else wear!

Air drying paints are inferior to two part paints when it comes to durability and uv protection...
