Digital Speedo Help
« on: 27 April 2016, 04:06:02 pm »
Hi All,

First tiime poster but long time reader. I've got an issue with fitting a KOSO DB-01R to my 2001 FZS 600.
I've read some very helpful wiring diagrams on this site, and I've got almost everything working, except the speedo itself.
I've had a play around with many of the settings, but can't seem to get it to register any speed.
To confirm, I'm not using the Koso supplied speed sensor / magnets, I'm following wiring diagrams from this site (link below), and I think I've done it correctly.

Would someone please cast an eye over my settings, and see if there's anything obviously wrong  :o

Tyre Circumference: 1787
Sensor Points: 2P (cycled through various options here).
Cylinders: 4C
Pistons: 2P
Input Signal: HI
Fuel Guage Resistance: 100

As for wiring, I followed this guide:

http://foc-u.co.uk/index.php?topic=14178.0

And connected:

FZS600 >> Koso
White >> Brown/White
Blue/Yellow >> Red/White
Black wire from speed sensor >> green/white

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I'm already regretting buying it damn thing (Koso, not the bike)

I'd imagine nobody has a clue what you're on about to be honest.
Modify your post/title to say "Digital Speedo".
