help with broken fuel sender + pics
« on: 24 August 2012, 02:50:43 pm »
hello , i have 02 fzs600 with broken fuel sender.. it always shows tank 'EMPTY' and the yellow light is on. I disassembled the sender unit from the tank as shown in the pictures, but it dont know how to fix it, how do i connect the floating unit to the (working) electircal unit?

thank you.

Can't see the business end of the float arm clearly enough to see for sure, but it looks as though the wiper contacts may be missing.
Does the tank rattle by any chance? :)

I was thinking of saying "Installation the reverse of the removal" but that would be cruel. It does look like you're missing something there. Just googled it and it should look like this: http://img.auctiva.com/imgdata/1/4/5/4/6/0/8/webimg/542202633_o.jpg
