No. 18 is an FZ1, not FZS1000.

Sorry Nick, I don't know the difference, I've only got a fzs600 and don't even know the differences in those models :wall

These pesky 600 riders eh ;)

Nick...I think all you need for a HPI is the registration number....you can get them sent to your phone by text for a few quid but id double check before paying exactly what details they are offering to find out.

I looked on the HM Gov site and have found that its last MOT expired 18 May 2013 and it is indeed registered there as sorn.

also on the HM Gov site was the facility to check the mot history which would include mileage but you need the registration number plus the V5 document reference number to get that info.

Looking at the guys ebay account he is also selling a Plough....yeh a full on Plough....(not for a fazer Christo)..........he got it for a contract that didn't materialise & doesn't have land to sell it.......He is also selling a fook off tractor (how welsh can you get)  for 14K earth pounds and wants to downsize to a smaller tractor as he doestn have the work to justify the big one apparently.

so, what is the difference?

FZ1's are faster 8) 8) 8)

FZS1000 are more versatile......can be used as hedge trimmers

Edit - unless slim is riding one and then apparently he is behind and out of sight.

Phone? Text?  :o   :lol

Tractor? Plough? What does all this tell us? That it'll all match up with my hedge trimmer?   :look

I've just done some googling so not sure if this is the best site but should give you an example Nick if the link works.

still involves dosh though.

if you look at the top you should see ive already entered the Reg....then if you scroll down you get a list of what is offered with the different packages of checks.

Ok, cheers. I guess it would be courteous to contact the seller first and ask if he objects to me doing a check?

I'm still none the wiser but I'm reading between the hedges :b here that red FZ1 's and FZ1000 's are a lot slower than my red fzs600 :b

I've always wanted to say that :lol

I was faster on my 600.....figure that one  :rolleyes................The FZ1 is the big fazer from 2006 onwards, different bike, chassis, engine, fuel injected etc, emphasis on sports bit of sports tourer...............the older big fazer is the FZS1000 which is also quick but has an older carb R1 engine and is more comfy for touring & trimming.

rumour has it that slim was only behind because he was carrying a leaf blower.

he wont know.......but if you message him and ask direct "is it Cat C or Cat D" and he replies with a Yes then it could save you a few quid on checking........if he knows then Im willing to bet that he will own up....but his advert hasn't mentioned anything about it Not being Cat C or D so he hasn't exactly lied if nobody asks I suppose.

Thanks for clearing that up,
.......
so, it's a carbed slower version of the even slower version of the 1000?

Have I got this right now? :rolleyes

I've sussed it! You didn't want to go too fast cos you were worried about speeding tickets. So you got a bigger faster bike.....which slowed you down...so now you're safe from speeding tickets....foccin genius!  :lol

So the obvious conclusion is that Noggy really needs a turbo-nitrous-supercharged Hayabusa - they'll pay him for going so slow  :)

It's a shop so should get it cheaper with haggling and no trade in :)
