For those wondering, I did put the carbs back a bit later on. :)

Really good to meet you, Lee, and delighted that you're pleased with the outcome of yesterday's session.  A dry run home, too, I hope!

Cheers!

Mike

That looks a nice clean bike and always good to hear about another satisfied foccer.

Some new life injected into an old machine, almost like doing a house extension. :)
Easiest way to go fast........don't buy a blue bike

It is a very nice clean bike.  One of the last to roll off the line in 2005 and actually registered in 2006.  Lee's got a good 'un there. :)

I thought all the late model bikes had Black engines. That does look tidy though.

Im not sure, I thought the blue had the silver engine anyway?
Probaby sat in the showroom for 4 years  :\

After using it now for a couple of days I have some updates..

Its so so smooth now, That was my main issue with this bike originally, Amazed  :)

Hot starting is much better.

Idle is loads better.

It has much more midrange power and more top end as well, Once it hits about 7-8k hold on.

I like the sound of the airfilter   :D

Worth every penny in all honesty, Probably the best thing thats been done to the bike along with the multigauge.
