Title: Bike engines and parts compatibility HELPPP!!!

I hope some can help, there must be a catalog of some sort...

for example ive got a fazer 600 98 and i have been told that i can fit the yzf 750 front forks... engine too? Any other bike compatible?

From Deefer..... Nope the YZF forks are longer and hit the bars, the engine wont fit without major frame surgery as the YZF cylinder slants forward and also has downdraft carbs, To the best of my knowledge there is no easily interchangable engine for an FZS600 with the exception for the 400 fazer but there would be little point in that.

Thanks for gettting back to me, so no outstanding modifications can be done on the bike? An ideas? got a 2001 fron fairing fitted on it pls side fairings... nice decent jobn though want to upgrade... need some ideas

From Deefer..... I have put R1 forks into an FZS before but it is not a straight swap and it is not an easy job. As for modifications the world is your oyster but not without serious work.... Unless of course you are just gonna fit FZS specific stuff. But the one mod I highly recommend is the FZS1000 rear caliper (which is virtually bolt on) as the 600 one is shite
