speed sensor rotor
« on: 03 May 2016, 03:46:49 pm »
Hi all,

I need to replace the speed sensor rotor (i.e. the part that has 2 lugs on and fits into 2 slots on the front wheel spindle).
The sensor rotor also fits into the sensor housing attached to the inside edge of the fork. Does anyone know whether I need to pack
the housing with lithium grease before I insert the sensor rotor into it?

Thanks in advance.

Marty.

its worth adding some as it helps hold the sensor in place when re-fitting the wheel which in turn saves breaking the new one. There should be some on the face of the bearing anyway.
