you knobber
:rollin
...and I hope nobody thinks they can't insult me just because I help with the forum. That's the least important part of the club.

Still at least Mark has hung around a bit and answered questions and concerns. Many journalists post a "Give me info" thread and are never heard of again. Some members have spent time and effort writing to them only to receive no reply or acknowledgement. So fair play to Mark in that respect.

However the info. he wanted was in the FZS600 board on the first page, so I suggest that not much research was performed, and that perhaps a school magazine reporter would have done more.

And anyway, in time the Foxeye will be more of a classic than the Boxeye (oh yes it will!).

Yes, I'm still around and no need for apologies... it was what it was. In the meantime I had a long and very useful conversation with Paul last night about his '98 longer termer and will notify the forum when the resultant article's going to appear. You can have a proper pop at me after that, if needs be!  :rolleyes

So am I right in thinking he's writing about the baby 600 and not the behemoth 1000?

Paul, see if you can persuade Mark to write the first ever article about the FZS600 that doesn't include the myth that it uses a detuned Thundercat engine. :lol

Speaking of the Thundercat- pretty much all reviews state it as an 'under rated bike'
As such, whenever I have a conversation with peeps about the Thundercat one of the first things they say is 'it's an 'underated bike"
I too find myself saying it's an under rated bike.
So, if it's been reviewed as an under rated bike, and everyone's knowledge of the Thundercat is that it's an under rated bike does this mean it's no longer under rated???

I've got a thundercat, and yep, it's still underrated! It rides just like my last 3 fazers but a bit sharper in the corners and it has a big plastic frock on!
Stop polishing it and ride the bloody thing!!

Increase in power is easily noticeable over the fzs!

Yeah she's a bit more top end than the fazer, especially over 9k where it really wakes up.
Stop polishing it and ride the bloody thing!!
