Hi all I know its not a fazer etc but my brother brought a old zzr600 only done 6500miles,when he first got it it wouldn't run proper felt like it was a cylinder down so went back to stealer who sort of sorted it said there was sand in air filter, so carbs were clean etc etc weve got it back it will start and run but its lumpy below 3000rpm and also smells of petrol went out for a ride to squires and still not any better any ideas on what to do as don't want to take it back to dealers
cheers

Sorry didn't make myself clearer the in car switch when turned on dissent make the clutch work even thou lit up to say it's on but if you put 12v across the compressor terminals the clutch engages so if I put 12v straight to the compressor via another switch will it work?

Whilst I'm removing the bumper on my car to clean the turbo aircooler I thought I would check the air con clutch system as the air con absent worked on my car for ages even thou it's been recharged, the clutch did the click sound as if engaging so I know that works. My point is can I bypass the in car on off switch directly to the air con clutch to get it working again?? it's a Renault scenic

this is what my comprehensive insurance says for my tiger 1050 Mr David Wildman - The insured, who may also drive for Third Party cover a motorcycle not belonging to him and not hired to him under a hire purchase agreement in respect of which no Insurance is afforded to him under any other Insurance applying to such motorcycle so does this mean im insured if theres no insurance on the other bike??

I don't like the so called bike journalist if it hasn't got the latest gizmo or tyre on they seem to slate the bikes there testing had it recently in mcn about adventure bikes because one didn't have traction control and the latest active suspension it was slated and put to the bottom if the pike ,they dint realise normal people can't afford the extra thousands of pounds these new things cost never mind the power it's draining.g away from the alternator
