Wannabe FOCER from the shires
« on: 14 July 2015, 02:28:21 pm »
Hello  :)

Newbie on the forum just saying Hi.

I'm Andy P from sunny Gloucestershire.
Sold my Ducati Monster s4 3 weeks ago after 11 years together - thought that I was going to take a break from bikes for a while
but find myself missing it too much. My Mrs P to be has said i can get a bike as long as I use it! The monster was getting used less
each year, I think I was a bit too precious about it?
So, after scouring the classifieds as you do, I'm on the look out for a fazer. In an ideal world I'd like a 600 boxy or foxy with panniers. A good choice for work, play and a bit of 2 up camping?
Fairly meagre budget of £12-1500.... is this doable or do I need to convince Mrs P to let me up the budget?

Anyone else come from a big grunty twin to an inline 4?

Enough waffle!...
Hello again!

Welcome to the forum  :)

Twins are great. I have got Gladius. Some say it is better twin than old Monster.

Anyway I bought 2003 foxeye for 1300 and I am very pleased   :)
