Hi,just registered on site,had my gen 1 fazer 1000 for about 6 months after a 5 year lay off from bikes.what can i say about it other than awesome.looking for some info on the best can for it in the £200 bracket,also interested in any pics of fully streetfightered gen1 models with the fairing removed,not a big fan of the fairing but i know that the clocks look terrible without it,i bought the bike with the intention of doing this but need some ideas ,thanks

It was born without a fairing though.

Hi jason, and welcome....I like the idea of a streetfightered thou, not seen one before....done well streetfighters can look good...ie, the gentlemans example.....but there are far two many bad ones out there that look awfull........post some piccies of you steed so we can see what your starting with   :)
One, is never going to be enough.....

There are a few on here, try posting and searching in the thou section.


To my mind the only downside is the thermostat housing sticks out of the frame on the righthand side, which looks odd.
