bit of a venture pictures added
« on: 27 November 2014, 08:07:53 pm »
well sorta got meself involved in hydro dipping the chap im working with has only ever done car stuff i saw potential in perhaps bike stuff and fronted this side of the operation

i want to keep it low key and small items but stuff were usally cussing as finish over time has tarnished are pride and joy

i want to make it clear i cant save heavily pitted or corrodded aliminium i dont have the equipment

however if the item is sandable and could be repainted then we can dip it

here is an example of what 80 quid posted back would get ya (this is you send me your items)

these are two pack laquered and gloss finish

other examples done

and before we get into long pointless debates about heat cycle on engine covers this process has been used under the bonnet of turbo fords which go through bigger heat cycles than bikes with no issue

for thoose who are more lets say adventurous

if anyone is intrested then drop me a line devilsyam@gmail.com

Good luck with your venture. Looks good.

That first picture looks a lot like the bits on my bike.......but as you put them on I guess it's the same finish. I'm not sure when you did them and I'm assuming that you did but they still look good now.

Wow. That black/orange tricked up FZ looks fecking awesome! Ive been looking at powdercoating my gold wheels black, although those carbon look wheels look fantastic!  How much to have both wheels done? And is some kind of laquer applied over top to protect the finish? I'd be seriously interested dependant on cost for the wheels.
