why are you sticking washers on the end of the cable?????
all you have to do is adjust the clutch actuator at the end of the cable at the sprocket end.
its a simple 5 min job.
that rubber bung on the sprocket cover... ping that out, take a 12mm spanner.. I think that's the size...undo the nut a little...hold the nut with the snanner....now take a small flat blade screw driver the turn the center screw until you feel resistance... back it off a tad.. hold the driver in place and tighten the nut up.
hey presto, all slack in the clutch gone, and plenty of adjustment at the clutch lever end.
