Spark Plugs
« on: 17 August 2015, 08:52:08 pm »
HTF do I get at the plugs on a Gen 1. Went change them yesterday, took one look (in fact I nearly lost my plug socket down the hole!) and thought - that has to be designed by a Brit  :eek .
Sensible answers please. (Yes I had the tank off)

Use the plug spanner in the toolkit with a 14mm open-end wrench to turn it.

I also use a magnetic pick-up tool to pull the plugs out when they're unscrewed and to position them back in the hole afterwards.

Fiddly but not impossible. :)
