Actually got mine fitted yesterday.
It has all been said before how good it is. Love it.
As suggested ny Luke, the shorter dog bones are not needed. I had a jack-up kit on and the bike still turns as sharp as before, but with more stability too.
It helps the front end too, but I'm going the attack that soon, also mentioned by Luke.
Setting is spot on solo.
Thanks Luke. Another recommendation.

Thanks Devilsyam for the instructions, much evolved from the originals that went in the recycling
, I have all the recommended tools, all ready to have a go this weekend........Well I was until the other half has arranged for house viewing on Saturday and with mothers day on sunday I have no chance of doing it this weekend. Oh well best lade plans and all that....
Going to order a Shock Sock, so that its kept in good condition as I ride all year round.

Bugger can't believe I just missed out on a yellow sprung shock and I bet the sring rate is different cos its yellow eh? I'm amazed how much lighter the r6 shock is compared to the standard one!.....or is the cos r6 one is clean!

Just a note to all which is not in the instructions but is common sense when you think about it.
Remember to prop up the rear of the bike because when the bolts are removed from the shock the rear end will drop and sit on the foot pegs scraping the rear plastic

When the shock is removed there is nothing to hold the rear of the bike up. The rear end will compress and come to a rest on the rear foot peg mounts scratching the rear end plastic.

ok call me thick but if anything the arm falls away from the rear pegs not towards it are you on a paddock stand as that would make sense but not with the stock center stand

Strangely enough, I've just done mine, whilst it was on the CENTRE STAND! and I had no probs. However, with all due respect, if your daft enough to try changing it while the bike is on a paddock stand, then yes the arse end of the bike will colapse in a heap, quite possibly with you under neath it!

If you hit the pegs when you're doing this then you're doing it wrong, big time.
