Hi everyone!
« on: 08 July 2013, 09:52:46 am »
Just bought my first fazer 600 (51plate) in red/black as my first big bike and loving it!

its going to be used as my commuter as i dont drive so if anyone could let me know of any problems that
tend to develop in this model it would be much appreciated so that i can keep it running for many years to come! :)

cheers.  :D

Welcome to the "Foccers" forum. Glad youre enjoying the 600. Plenty of helpful advice on site-have a look round-and dont be afraid to ask if you need specific advice re servicing/maintenance/whatever. Post a pic when you can.  :lol

Hi,

Welcome to the forum!

Chris

It wouldn't be fun if it was easy, I just wish it wasn't this much fun.

Welcome mate, enjoy the site,

The fazer is pretty bulletproof but for a bike of its age they can suffer from the usual things that every bike of that age suffers.

When you get some spare time take a flick through the 600 section & through the years youll het an idea of what type of things to expect.

The main thing to check id say is the front sprocket nut.

Cheers

Ah, Brighton. So when any FOCcers do a run down there (I'm sure it'll happen one day Steeeve66!), it's all back to yours for a cuppa before everyone scoots off home then?

Welcome to the foc-ers! And you've only bought the best colour boxeye going!
There is a major flaw with the black one, its always got lesser coloured fazers in its mirrors trying to keep up. Because we all know, the black ones are the fastest! 8)
Stop polishing it and ride the bloody thing!!
