I've only just notice as well it's only started since I've had my alarm taken off by a local motorcycle shop could that have anything to do with it
Could always pop back and see them, and ask exactly what they plugged and unplugged, or maybe just quickly check over the bits they touched.
Make sure you haven't got a kinked fuel line anywhere, and it may even be worth changing your fuel filter for the sake of a few quid too.
Too much air can also mean not enough fuel, if you have a bit of crap in your filter you may be getting an intermittent blockage, which could be noticeable at high revs when the fuel needs to flow consistently for full effect.
