First ride on the Fazer for a while, went up to the Hartside cafe. The Striple is easier to flick through the tighter bends, but the Fazer's suspension just deals with all the bumps and ruts so much better. It was nice not to get the ear bashing that the Triumph subjects me to for a change as well! The Fazer is still undoubtedly my favourite of the two, just like pulling on the old familiar slippers. Now, where's me pipe? :lol

Had the suspension set up and the throttle bodies balanced. Feels like a different bike.

Had a ride over to Leysdown for breakfast and take the piss look at all the scooters then rode through the lanes to a local off road practice track.
Mad thing is the local council tried to close this down yet the noise of the bikes are drowned out by the constant noise of the vehicles on the M20.

Knackering day.....on the  :faz , yay!  :)  Did loads of the gnarly little mountain roads in the Lakes, including Honister, Wrynose and Kirkstone passes. But quite a few other roads around here are similar in steepness, and they require constant concentration. It was actually pretty warm in the sun too, to the point where getting the colder winds at the tops of the passes was a relief!

Photos are a little better today with the sunshine.
Skiddaw's north face got a plastering of snow last night:

Wasdale again:

And Scafell actually not hiding in cloud:

And seen from a different viewpoint on Birker Fell:

It's a fabulous place; the sense of remote, open space is fantastic up here, one of my favourite in the region.

The Fazer goes in for a service tomorrow, and then I'll turn my attention to Scotland a bit I think...can't wait to start exploring somewhere new to me.
