Or be mistaken for a car at a further distance away by a quick glance before someone pulls out of a junction straight into you.
Not trying to be critical but I have mistaken spots on bikes to be car headlight further away before.
It's only the fact that I ride a bike and I took a second look prevented me from doing so.

Changed gearing on the gen 1 thou back to stock (16/44) as the lowered gearing when I picked it up, didn't suit me. Also changed from bar end mirrors (now in For Sale) to stock mirrors with Oberon heavy bar end weights as with the bar end mirrors I could fit in an Autocom PTT switch.

Lovely now it is - was nice when I picked it up, just some personal taste changes :)

Next fitting Fuzeblock / autocom / 12v powered walkie talkie etc

cheers

Fitted both a FuzeBlock and Autocom to mine years ago,  FuzeBlock makes adding accessories so much easier and electrical power controlled by ignition switch. Don't know why more people don't fit them?
Fitted a Fuzeblock to mine years ago for all the accessories, heated grips, autocom, sat nav, uprated horn, etc, makes adding accessories so much easier and doesn't clog up battery area.

Put the battery back on and took it for a short blast up the road and back. The Striple is great fun, but every time I get on that  :faz , I know it's no.1  :)

Totally understand where your coming from but I never ride without my dipped beams on, these, imo, are just to give more visibility and I like the idea of them.

As far as them blinding other people, they are slightly angled downwards due to the shape of the mirrors.

Really like those fella  :thumbup

Do you have a linky to the lights you fitted and a close up piccy showing how you've fitted them?

Here's the link www.tirepenze.co.uk
Don't know if they're on the Webpage yet as he says it's just a new line,  but at the show,  you could get them in white, amber & red, but when I went back he'd sold out of all of them. They did say to email any requirements though.

And a few pics of install under the mirrors.
I joined the two wires together after bring them down the mirror shroud and then connected them into my led sidelight.
All wires soldered and heatshrinked as my normal anal self allows nothing less :loīl

I'm looking into getting a couple of brackets made to allow me to put them on a wee bit more neater than tie-wraps but it'll do for now.
And yes that's a 5p on the 3rd pic!

My Baby with extra illumination, 2 X 40mm 25 Watt LED projector spots aimed low, both side light bulbs changed to 10 Watt LEDs, 5050 led strip V lights on screen.
Headlights upgraded to Bosch H4 Gigalight 120 Blueish/White.
I ride with all on but headlights dipped. Photo 3.jpg is taken from a car drivers view point with dipped headlamps. Photo up.jpg is just for Sinto. :eek

:rollin :rollin :rollin Frosties I know what you mean Tiger lmfao.
Its a stand that I made to hold a white board, works well as a stand but don't help when you have a turn out. :eek

I took the bike up to show my mate Terry when I fitted the lights he reckoned they were the brightest thing that had ever been on the bike, cheeky bastard.
I told him people thought that his 900 Thruxton Bonny was female cos when he was riding through town the other day someone made the comment 'Look at the Twat on that Triumph.

It's 8-14am here (Weds 16th) the sun is shining, so I just need to put the charged up battery back on my hairdressers car (MR2 Mk3) then I'm taking the Fazer out for a gentle cruse around.

I went down to Loomies Cafe at the West Meon Hut in Hampshire on Sunday afternoon and could not get in the car parking area because it was jammed packed with bikes,
they were also parked along the road in the lay-by as well, my guess would be 350 bikes, don't have any pics because some dozy old fart had the camera on his phone set to video mode I got about 2 seconds of the bikes then some lovely footage of the darkness taken from inside my pocket, about 45 minutes of it in all, before the phone ran out of power and switched off. :fish   :'( cupid stunt

Gave my Exup valve it's yearly service,  and cleaned the downpipes as much as I could reach, cracked off and removed each header nut in turn and added copperslip to all threads.

Exup was still moving freely  before I removed it and the rest position was still in spec. once I'd re-assembled it all.

Glad I've got a bike bench, makes these jobs so much easier than rolling around on he floor.

I don't think I will have a 1K Fazer, someone said to me that you have to be special to need one of them, I think that's what they said, errrrrrrrr...... or was it you have to have 'Special Needs' to have one of them? yeah that was it. :rollin
Who knows one day when I grow up I may get one, but in the mean time my lil FZS rocks, there is not much that will leave it through the lanes and country roads of Hampshire, Ok it's a bit different on the major routes but I try my damnedest to avoid them like the plague. It is good for a tad over 140mph, 0-60mph still frightens the s--t out of me, I'm told the FZS 600 does it in 3.9 secs, but not with me on it.
I do like the look of the silver lumped early thousands.  The attached pic would do me nicely but just personalize it a bit.  :D
