bashed the rear wheel bearings out after they failed :(  needle roller was mincemeat, all the needles looked like squashed steel maggots!  Took a lot of pounding to get the spindle out as the hard sleeve looks like it got hot and galled up....  Waiting for new ones to arrive.

Took the rear PR3 tyre off as it is down to wear marks after 8k miles, got a new PR4 on the way, will see if they are any better.

Took it for its MOT, it failed on a fork seal being knackered and the headset bearing having too much free play :(

(Given that it's done over 53k and I've been having the headset advisory since I got it, that's not actually too bad :thumbup )

80 miles round trip to Woods Motorcycles, Abergele, to book bike in for 40,000kms service and MOT. Taking it on the 29th June, service scheduled for the 30th. Bonneville T100 courtesy bike booked, so I don't have to piss about with trains.

Rode mine to my dad's and back to drop off his father's day card (only chance I'll get for another week).
150 mile round trip and my backside was killing me! Uncomfiest saddle I've had in any of y bikes!
Stop polishing it and ride the bloody thing!!

Washed it, cleaned and lubed the chain, fitted new clutch cable and put the standard can back on, not keen on the lumpyness that go's with after market cans....super smooth now   :thumbup

132 miles round trip to Castlewood Cafe, A518 Uttoxeter, and back, via Audlem, Woore, Stone, and return via Eccleshall, Audlem, Whitchurch. Light rain on and off but not enough for waterproofs.

Thanks once again to Luke for all his time and effort. To say I am pleased with the results would be a very poor understatement - Oh, and alright then, I'll keep the no. plate  :rolleyes  :lol

What was supposed to be literally a 2min check ride around the block to see how my back coped turned into a 70 mile spin around the Cotswolds  :D

Hedgetrimmer is happy  :)

Weeeeellll....you know I said Newtown police station had my camera? You may also have read that slimwilly kindly collected my kit from them, and also that I went up to his to pick it up? Which I did. But foc knows what I then did with the camera, cos I can't find it anywhere  :\
