Went up over the Elan, then onto Aberystwyth, then Llandovery, down to M&P and back to Bristol:

Went a wee 200 mile blast to Dumfries then along the A75 to Stranraer and back up the A77 to Kilmarnock, cracking day and my head is a little bit sunburnt :D

Cleaned it, then applied a new coating/dressing I got in to try to the  tyrewalls, and also to the mirrors. Seems to have brought the mirrors back to black a bit, which is Ideal :D

I suppose I should show you guys a couple of pics (I know how you all love pics):

I have got something similiar to that, called back to black. Bought it ages ago and gives black plastics a nice sheen.

Not today, but recently, I changed the handlebars. The Renthals are no more. LSL is king!

But I made a little video of the Operation:

Lots of huffing and tool dropping...

yeah, its essentially the same sort of product, just with nano-tech bonding rather than a silicone spray that site on top. I believe this product is supposed to last 3-4 months on each application :)

Did the mirror mod, not road tested as yet, but look less antenna like and not filled with a view of my elbows. Hope the reports of less turbulence are also true.

Polished up my manifolds, they're been slightly neglected by the previous owner.
Fitted a scorpion decat.
Added the seat cowl.
And went out for 150 mile ride

I use autosol on my exhausts and metalwork. Still takes some time but it's the best that I've used so far :)

I swear I can never achieve that sort of shine on my metal work - not by hand at least... I've tried several times on various pieces (exhaust manifold, end can, other bits...) and spent hours on them without amazing results. They always look better than when I started, but never to a state that particularly impresses me...

Just got back from the Devon air ambulance trust rideout, from Tiverton to Teignmouth via 76 miles  of nice roads. Overall I did a little over 100 miles. I would guess between 800-1100 bikes attended the ride.

The overflow parking area just after I arrived

More overflow parking in a different area.

Guess what?

I ended up playing tag with this Z750

Had a chat after we parked up. He was a little surprised when I told him mine was a 600 not a 1000 fazer. Grins all round, this day.
