What did I do with my Fazer today? Well I guess it was only a matter of time. 

For the first time in months I went out for a ride just for the hell of it, I was out for 5 minutes, lost the grip on the front end going round a mini roundabout and kissed a BMW. Luckily, hitting it kept me upright, but I took a chunk out of his back wheel and we swapped paint.

Pisser was breaking my big toe in the process, but at least my left leg protected the bike. 

What was it, diesel, pitch line, white line, manhole cover? Glad you didn't get it worse. Time to get the missus to fetch and carry for you for a bit!

Washed the old girl. For a 10 year old bike, with 30k on the clock, I must say she's doing pretty damn well!
Gonna miss how bloody practical she is as well when I come to selling her in a few weeks!

Would you sell the tank cover, being trying to get one like that for ages?

The trick is to be aware of it and ride accordingly. After all, you can crash in the dry too. But at the same time, there's nothing wrong with avoiding it if you're not comfortable with it. Tomorrow, I'll be out for a ride. I won't be out for a thrash.

Thats what it will be , a calm gentlemans ride.Still fun though,,remember the danger areas are mainly JUNCTIONS,, ,so approach carefully,move off carefully.

This week including today I've done sweet foc all, anything fazer related appart from typing this message. Might balance the carb this afternoon though.  See how it goes

I genuinely don't know. No white lines there, no manholes, didn't spot any diesel or oil, but it was almost dusk and it was by a petrol station. We'd both just pulled away so weren't doing more than 15 mph, the front end slipped as I was leaning right so could either lose the bike or straighten up and hit the car, so I chose the latter. The guy was fine about it though, he said it was a company car and they'll propbaby not bother claiming for such light damage so I'll wait and see. Poor bloke was taking his mrs and newborn kid home from hospital too!

  Yep, done thatall last night. Got back from the clinic today and was told it was just a fracture. That was after getting it hit by a hospital bed and a wheelchair. Plus my cat loves jumping on it in bed.

No more riding for me this side of Christmas!

Got it very dirty , had arranged to meet a friend at Compton Abbas for hot chocolate, dont usually ride on wet roads either , still all ok cleaned and back in bed now phew   didnt need heated grips either

Had shiny new Motad downpipes fitted to replace the originals which had rotted and blown a hole.

Yay! Can't tell you how pleased I am this went smoothly... was really worried about exhaust studs snapping so got CMC to do it and they did a really good job of it, no major problems.

Isn't it funny how as soon as you have a problem you kinda fall out of love with them... then as soon as it's fixed it's all good again. Did sound kinda nice with the hole though, burbling away all the time

bent my rear brake lever back to near correct position.  It started to crack a bit so will need to remove it, get it fully bent back to shape and weld it.

Met slimwilly at Gloucester and took a run down to Cheddar Gorge. Nice and easy, just good to be out and about. I owe you a cheeseburger Bill!
