anyone know what colour silver to use on the foxeye? can they be sprayed without taking them apart?

Not sure about colour.

I took mine off the bike and sanded them then hung them from the garage roof with some wire through the axle holes. I sprayed mine black and they look much nicer in my opinion.

If I was to do it again I'd take them apart and get them powder coated.

Mine I think are clear coated - I was thinking of going black with mine

Have you got a picture,mine have been stripped back to the alloy but its a crap job as bits have been missed!!

I got my lowers and swingarm powdercoated at Triple S in Bingley.

Lovely blue Fazer!  Liking the black fork bottoms :) .  Its a part of my Fazer which really spoils it.  Everything else is pretty clean for the age of the bike but let down by the nasty corrosion on the forks.


I have access to a powder coater but assume its not an easy job removing the forks so a job for later in the year.

removing the forks isn't too hard, just got to make sure they're all lined up right when you put them back on. haha.
