engine management light
« on: 10 June 2013, 06:36:33 pm »
The other day i ragged the bike in 1st past a restaurant full of customers just cos im a divvy and since then karma's been a bitch and most times i take the bike past 6000 revs in gears 1,2 and 3 the engine light pops on but then goes once i stop accelerating hard. Any one got any ideas as to why it may come on? it is probably due an oil change and new spark plugs so i will see how it goes once ive changed them.  Im new to FOC-U so hi to all :)

Hi there, top the oil up to the max level?

Very sensitive to oil levels

You're probably a little low on oil. At high revs the oil level dips a bit in the sump as it gets pumped around the engine heavily before settling back down - mine did this the other day but I'm pretty sure its developed ANOTHER oil leak  :rolleyes :wall

I know the best fix for this issue. Take the bulb out. Done.
