2003 Yamaha Fzs 1000 sports tourer

26,500 miles

Very good overall condition with lots of paperwork and service history

Michelin pilot road 2 tyres with good tread

Recent gold did chain and sprockets, Motul 5100 oil and filter

Rear shock rebuilt and a new spring fitted by MCT suspension in the last 2 months, with a receipt to prove work carried out

Extras include: MRA Vario screen, Oxford heated grips, crash bungs, rear hugger, belly pan, stainless steel radiaror cover/protector and front fender extender

Insurance approved immobiliser with paperwork

Has had the the carberuettors rejetted with the Ivans slip on kit, this modification is a must on the Fzs1000 as it give it the low down and midrange a 1000cc should have

Ready to ride on a sunny Sunday afternoon or tour Europe

I'm after £2450

Bike is located in Dorset

It is a very tidy example and polishes up really well, I don't think its seen a British winter

I'm after a Fjr1300 for a bit of two up European touring

Don't suppose you would part with the belly pan?

Looking for a bit of feedback from other members with regards to value of our bikes

It is a really nice bike and I think it's easily worth the asking price

Would eBay or Biketrader be a better market?

It's bang on the money, if you ask me, it's just the Dorset problem, I would imagine. If you were in Manchester or London, that would've gone already. I'd come and have a look right now, but I'm 300 miles away...

In my view it's well priced, my 04 very low miles machine has just gone for £3400, to a friend, if that helps at all.  I'd give Gumtree a whirl, but suggest you don't undersell for at least another month.  I had a hell of a job tracking down a decent bike (like yours) this time last year and missed 3 in a row!  Good luck.
