FZ1 or FZS 1000 Wanted
« on: 13 March 2016, 05:37:52 pm »
Hello all

I am new to this place and I am looking at getting a bike. I have previousl owned a Triumph Daytona 650 (first bike) then a Triumph Sprint 1050 (hit by a lorry) and then a bandit 1250 (had to sell as I was buying a house). Now I have found my self in a position where I have unfortunately got a little bit of money to buy a bike. I have riddena friends FZS1000 a few years back and I enjoyed it and I have liked Fazers ever since.

So if anyone has a FZ1 or FZS for sale between £3000 to £3750 then please get in touch.

Make sure you have a test on a fz1 as it's a lot different to the fzs.

Depends on the individual bike, some people don't notice it on their bike , others find it really noticeable.
The later the bike year it seems to be better, many owners fit a power commander and like me get a custom map for their bike done, not cheap though.

Only on the early FZ1's. My 2009 model is perfect from the factory and a lot of the early ones will have been sorted anyway.

I have a silver 2002 Fzs1000 with 16k miles on it.  Has an R6 rear shock + the original.   Standard screen on it at mo but I have a Black double bubble.  Quill road legal exhaust (slight dent) and the original.  Fazer rad cover. and Givi Rack (plus original grab handles).  Scottoiler. Colour coded seat cover, bagster I think.  There are a couple of chips on the rear of the tank from a zip.

Looking for around £2500

Hi Spoons, you should say roughly your location, so that if anyone is close by you can go and view it. Best of luck with your search. :)
If it's broken, it's not fixed.

I could change my opinion, but then we'd both be wrong.
