John Silva:
How come mothers day is on the 8th May  :eek

All the calendars in my house say 3rd April.

Are the mothers after 2 days of flowers this year.  :\

Grahamm:
8th May is the US version.

Farjo:
Thanks, good spot :thumbup

Well I've learned something new - the US date is the 2nd Sunday in May whilst the UK date is the 4th Sunday of lent. We also (officially) call it "Mothering Sunday", Mother's Day being the US title.

Anyway, all the dates are changed and when I get a chance I'll check the Father's day dates :) Any of the others incorrect? Apparently D-Day is 6 June each year, although we don't seem to celebrate it here. Any I should be adding (and can you get me the dates)?

John Silva:
How about May day on May 2nd
Spring and Summer Bank holidays on 30th May and 29th August.

Need the holiday dates to plan ride outs in the sun  :lol

I've not checked, but here's a link to Bank Holidays and British Summer Time
