What sort of price are you looking for? Feel free to PM if you prefer.

Cheers, Steve

FZS600 Fazer / Aftermarket electricals - how many?
« on: 27 January 2020, 12:20:34 pm »
Hi, I've got a 52 plate Foxeye which has heated grips and an alarm fitted. Will soon be adding a Wingrack :-) with indicators, was also thinking about some running lights. Is there a point where the battery will run down too quickly if you've got lots of extras running or are there any other issues to consider?

Maybe I should've paid more attention in O level Physics  :z

Cheers

FZS600 Fazer / Re: Security Chains?

there is a 5 foot  squire lock and chain for sale on the MT-09/FZ-09 forum for £30

Thanks Acid. I bought the chain, it's pretty hefty, and the lock seems decent. Been using it to lock new bike (another fox eye!) to a sheffield stand outside work, along with disc locks front and rear. Bike has alarm/immobiliser on it too. That's more security than any of the other bikes round this way so fingers crossed should be ok...

No CCTV anywhere? The police probably won't check unfortunately.

It was right opposite City Hall and the Benefits Office so there is CCTV, police have put a request onto the relevant computer system to access the Council CCTV... not sure anything will come of it though.

I've bought a replacement and am getting used to using 3 locks and an alarm :-)

FZS600 Fazer / Security Chains?

Had my 600 nicked the other day, wasn't locked. Yes, I know.

Going to buy a replacement 02 or 03 model - just wondered if anyone uses 16mm or bigger chains? Do they fit through the bike (and where?) or just the back wheel?. Is 1.5m long enough to get to a ground anchor?

Thanks

Had my bike nicked from outside work yesterday, right in the centre of Bradford (outside Subway and across the road from City Hall if you know the city). Came out for lunch and it was gone.

Silver FZS 600 with top box, Renthal bars, oxford hot grips, engine bars, rubbery knee grip thingies... reg is YK03AGY. If anyone sees it can you let me/the cops know please.

I assume I won't see it again so waiting for the insurance to fund my next bike - which will be another late model Foxeye :-)

Thanks. I've got a top box rack but no top box (that's how I bought it!) so Medium should do the job... Will keep an eye out for deals on Stormtex

Hi, can anyone recommend a good and/or cheap cover for a Fazer? They've got the Oxford Aquatex ones in Halfords but not sure what size to get.
Thanks
