I was sad to miss the xmas meet up, so if everyone would like to, it'd be good to meet up at the Colchester Embassy chinese again?
On Lum's recommendation, there is to be no secret santa, but everyone has to bring an easter egg! ;-)
Can we think on a date? A sunday, not the second sunday of the month, in march/april/may?

How about the first sunday in april. Some london foccers can drive up too? But any of those mnths on the first would be ok.

Not sure where you got that from. The date was already chosen and I said "Don't mind whether it's Bedford or Colchester, they're both miles away from me" :book
And I wasn't able to make it because it turned out to be the only weekend I could have an early Christmas with my brother before he went to Oz for real Christmas.
Am I forgiven? :look

Embassy Chinese Buffet on Balkerne Hill at 12pm, with your easter egg!
Jazz, no bikes for this one unless you're coming on one ;-) Meet at 12pm (with egg) eat lunch, talk rubbish for a few hours, then go home.
I promise not to be the odd one out drinking this year, and not to frighten the waiting staff ;-)

It's a shame whoever decided on the date (Kosmic) couldn't check other foccer events on the same date that were arranged some months ago.

Oh that's nice... Shove it in my face because I didn't read your post.
Several dates were given on the other Fazer site http://fazer1000.yuku.com/ (http://fazer1000.yuku.com/) and I picked one. The fact that other people can also do this date is entirely not my fault.
The event has always been organised by Fazer1000 owners club and an invite gets posted on Foc-u... End of.

As far as I could see, it was being organised by you. You confirmed the date? No matter. I had no idea there even was another fazer site until I saw the one you're advertising on here.

I've not organised anything. Dates were sugested. I said I could do one of those dates. Others said they could do that date.
To my knowledge there is no post in the BRUM NMM thread that mentioned another foc-u event on that day. You sent me a PM to bring this to my attention. I told you I would send a message to the site moderator which I have done. As far as I'm aware no other date for the Fazer meet has been sugested.
And I hardly think a post with a link to another Fazer site is advertising. Links to other forums appear all the time. People know where I'm from on here. Some of the Fazer 1000 riders hear have probably been on the site at one time or another. Some are members. "Heaven Forbid" I here you say. Traitors!

It's all you can eat for a fiver. Yes, a fiver! And it's a big buffet. You can bring your squirrel. My madagascan lemur can keep him company. Oh, and you must bring an egg. Of the chocolate variety! :)

A doggy bag is a must! ;-) They do a mean Chinese mini sausage. It includes dessert too, as much cake and ice cream as you can eat!

First, thanks to Tori for arranging a brilliant lunch. Nice to see a few faces with common interest. Should be able to get together in the summer for a rideout. I am sure we can find a common point for all of us to meet without going too far. Regards Mike
