Yeah, i put one on about 3 weeks ago, after i'd given the downpipes a good scrub, and the pipes are still looking okay now.

Think they are good - dont stop all the crud but most - best bang for bucks of all the bolt on upgrades - cant  think of any reasons not to have one!

I have one, as well as a bellypan. Wouldn't be without either, the downpipes do benefit hugely from their presence.

It wouldn't be fun if it was easy, I just wish it wasn't this much fun.

Opinions are like A**holes, Everyone has one.  Some people seem to have more than one though which is a bit odd.

I wouldn't be without one now either. If you don't want to drill into the mudguard or don't fancy having screws near your front tyre, you can stick it on with silicone sealant. I removed my mudguard, stuck it on and left it overnight with a sack of pebbles on top to keep them pressed together and it's been solid ever since, 18 months or so.
