Hi mate,


Thanks for the response, I have had mix results with headlights bulbs in the past and just wanted to see what recommendations people have.


I don't want to do any modifications to the lights or wiring in anything else. just looking for the brightest/best bulbs I can get.

Afternoon Gents, 


I have had low beam on both bulbs go, and I'm looking for replacement bulbs recommendations. I remember reading somewhere that the wiring has some limitations, so looking for the best bulbs I can get without overloading the wiring loom.

Fazer 1000/FZ1 corner / Backfire Through the Airbox ?

Afternoon Gents,


I have a question regarding my 2003 Gen1 Fazer (1000), Not every time but maybe once every 5-7 days on start up from cold, with a little choke I get a backfire from what I think is the airbox? its not from the exhaust.


Not sure why this is happening, or where to start with resolving it, as its only started doing this over the last 4-5 weeks.


Is this causing damage to the bike which means it needs a mechanic to look at ASAP, or do I have time to look at it myself? as this is about the 5th time its happened.


The Bike is just over 41,000 on the clocks and I had a massive service done about 2,000 miles ago.


Any guidance would be appreciated.

Introduction / New 1st Time Fazer Owner and Forum User

Afternoon Gents,


Just a quick Hello, as a 1st time Fazer owner and forum user.


I have a 2003 Fazer 1000, with about 38K on the clock, I'm pretty impressed with the Fazer so far and after 7 months of commuting everyday the bikes been great.


Although I would be lying if I didn't say, I still very much miss my MT-09 Tracer I wrote off in 2019.
