No dip beam
« on: 06 September 2021, 08:56:14 pm »
Bought the bike a few months ago , FZ1s 2007 , not owned a Fazer thou before so wasn’t surprised when only one headlight worked on dip ( clutch lever side ) so dip went on that side and i got another bulb but I’ve still no dip on that side , went on forum and as far as I can tell the bikes supposed to have both sides lit on dip , is this the case , any idea why I have no dip beams at all now ? Where should I start looking , thanks In advance

Theres a strange construction and use regulation. To be honest I dont know about the FZ1 but if the bike has a single headlight lens both bulbs can light up but if they are separated like the FZS600, then only one is meant to light up to prevent muppet car drivers thinking (by seeing two lights) it is a car far far away.
