A686 Penrith to Alston, stopping off at the Hartside Cafe
Heading west from near Ambleside, try the Hardknott & Wrynose passes, not roads for speed really worth doing for the views and the 1 in 4 gradients and hairpin bends, a few decent pubs in Boot village and a good campsite at Eskdale.
A6 over Shap, a great stretch of road & fairly quiet as most of the traffic will be on the M6.
A few starters for ya, I'm sure lots more will be posted
Here's a link to the campsite we stayed at in Eskdale, couple who ran it were really nice (think they're still there), even to the point of letting me park my Fazer in their garage overnight

« on: 18 January 2014, 10:19:25 pm »There's a whole thread about this in the FZS600 board. Pity journalists cannot be bothered to do any research.
I'm sure he has, you knobber. Mark Williams isn't exactly a cub reporter for a school magazine, he started Bike magazine y'know (before it became the self-regarding drivel it is now).
Oops, you obviously don't know who you've referred to as a 'knobber', and what he does for this forum

Tried many different products over the years (not including horse semen though ), and this is by far the best, not cheap but it does what it says on the tin

Couldn't agree more Dazza, some days everything just feels right and goes right, yet other days things just don't seem to go your way. Enjoy the good days, and learn from the not so good ones and you won't go far wrong
