Hi
Did you sort out your oil pipe? as mine has gone and I've been told £70 for a new one. Tried soldering it up with my plumbing tools, only lasted 2 weeks
Thanks

A slight problem the oil feed pipe at the front of the engine is leaking, when I took it off it has had a bodge repair done on it in the past. After cleaning it up, I soldered the hole up. Alas it has started leaking again any advice or help, as they want £70 for a new one thanks

Brilliant My eldest niece, is at uni. studying to be a teacher, she is in her final year but loves ever minute of it and the kids she has worked with. When she graduates she is going backpacking in the USA and looking to work in the summer camps over there It helps that her mum is a head teacher of a nursery, so that is where she gets it from. Pity I'm the thick one of the family

My grandson plays for Blackburn Rovers and even got to play against Barcelona, he loves it and all the good things it teaches him. I just hope he can keep it up and maybe one day look after us :

I have done the other upgrades so far took shroud off H1 bulb, wired up H4 for dipped and that makes a big difference
the next will be to upgrade the bulbs, when the old ones blow
It is worth checking out all your wiring as I found someone had done a bodge job repairing the electrics before, at least I have all the equipment to do a proper repair and small rewire
I think if I had a newer bike and money I would go for HID
Happy biking and clear roads

I might look at taking mine apart and just not bother with one for now, as long as it is fitted and working for it's MOT next winter The one I bought from the garage cost £9, so the other option is get another cheap one from ebay
I do 200miles a week commuting and what ever I can get in, between shifts
It's a good way to clear the cobwebs, especially after a night shift

A little problem The front brake switch, stopped working so I replaced it from ebay, a month or so later did the same, so got one from my bike shop. A month later, hey presto, it doesn't work again.
Apart from keep buying new ones, is there anything else I can do?????
Thanks Kelvin

Hi I have started doing this mod but am having problems. On mine the green wire from the blue block is for the indicators I have a 98 fazer I have also found a bodged up wiring repair to the main big white connector, the wires in that match the headlight wires and would account for the melted connector at the back of the bulb Any advise welcome, I will take a photo Kelvin

Hi I would show a photo but I have come across a problem. I am doing the headlight upgrade and the information is wrong plus I have found a bodged up wiring repair that I need to fix first. Kelvin

Hi Thought I would introduce myself I am I the Manchester area and was wondering if there are any clubs for bikers, especially round the Trafford area
My choice of extinction is a 1998 fzs600 fazer
One question though, is it me or does it feel colder and noisier riding a bike now than when I was 18? I know this is a long shot as well, I used to be in Stockport and District bike club in the 80's, if there is anyone one out there.
Thanks

Hi
A question about this mod
I have read somewhere that fitting a relay to the lights would boost power and efficiency. Any comments on this?
Thanks Kelvin

Thanks for those links Ebme I am going to do the rewire next anyway but was just wondering about the bulbs first.
I have taken the shielding off the dipped side and it makes a big difference, so just need to do a few repairs of things I found broken, then it's rewire time and Osram night breaker bulbs.
Thanks Kelvin

Hi Everyone I have a 98 fazer and want to make both headlights to H4s. How do I change the H1 fitting to H4? I have already taken the shroud off the h1 side but want to inpove the lights. Thanks Kelvin
