Ivan's jet kit on R1???
« on: 21 September 2013, 11:15:15 pm »
Has anyone fitted one of Ivan's kits to their R1? I'm thinking about doing this over the winter months but was wondering if anyone has tried it?

Jim.

The carb'd R1 doesn't flaming need it, they're an animal as it is!
Stop polishing it and ride the bloody thing!!

Yes, me.  Obviously :)

Worth doing, not difficult, check out Ivan's website for dyno graphs showing the gains.

Thanks Mike, is the fitting just about the same as the Fazer?

Jim.

A lot easier as there's no carb drilling and the basic kit just involves changing the needles.  It can be done with the carbs in place, IIRC>
