Error viewing thread
« on: 10 September 2013, 06:54:30 pm »
I got an error while trying to view the 13 things in 40 years thread tonight (and then the same error again when trying to navigate back to the forum home), error 508.:

Quote from: Error508
Resource Limit Is Reached The website is temporarily unable to service your request as it exceeded resource limit. Please try again later.

here is the link to the thread I originally got it on, although I think its more likely a server load issue?:

Ooh a 508! I think someone else had one of them a couple of weeks back. Yes you're right there was something up with the server around quarter to seven this evening.

If anyone gets these in the future please report it so we know how often it occurs :thumbup

A new error when trying to reply to a thread for me tonight:

Quote
Internal Server Error The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@foc-u.co.uk and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

I've had a few of these over the past couple of days. One just now when trying to mark a Forum as read.
