Fitting is really simple, plugs straight in to existing loom. To set up and play with maps you will need to download the software from dynojet's web site (it's free), also download the FZ6 fitting instructions free from dynojet.
If you want to play with different maps while the PC III is fitted you will need to buy a usb adaptor lead (about a tenner off ebay) which then lets you plug your laptop into the PC III and load in different maps (which are available, again free from dynojet). I'm no mechanic but had no trouble loading and trying out different maps. Because I had a custom exhaust on mine there was no ready made map (have a look on dnojet's web site to see the list of ready made maps) so I just tried a few until I got one that really suited the bike. Once fitted and loaded with the best map it really did make a big difference, my mate on his street triple struggled to keep up in acceleration runs from any speed . I did a couple of track days on it and there wasn't a lot coming past, I never believed how much difference it could make. I've just bought an old Daytona 955i and the first thing I've done is buy a PCIII for it (had to get it from USA).
So no worries fitting and loading maps, really is simple, and it realy does make a difference.
