« on: 04 August 2012, 10:41:43 pm »
Hello everyone,Brizz here.I am midway between Derby & Matlock.Just got myself a fz6 s2 on a 09 plate.I have held a m/bike licence now for 50 years but am still young at heart!Have owned so many bikes over the years that I cant remember most of them!I have only had this bike a week but put around 300 miles on her and loved every minute.Hope to hear from other Fazer owners with a view to meets/ride outs etc.All the best Brizz.

Hi Brizz, Im in Heanor so we are practically neighbours - been alive 48years so cant match your riding experience at the mo  :lol
Most of my rides are weekends and fairly ad hoc get up n go, I like a quick nip to Grindleford station for a breakfast, but if I plan ahead Ill drop a note..
Never argue with an idiot, they will drag you down to their level then beat you with experience.

Hello there tiggr2,good to hear from a local biker.Yes we are almost neighbours.Been up to Grindleford  station myself.Bit of an eye opener eh!Came through Heanor this evening on way back from MFN.Good weather tempted a lot out tonight.I go down there quite a lot, weather permitting.Do you go there being so close? Are there any more from round this area that use this forum? Is there much activity regarding ride outs/meets on here ?Hope to here from you soon Brizz.

Hi Brizz never go to MFN, way to close, i could almost walk it.
I dont know if there are other locals there is no members map that I can find.
I used to ride out with friends a lot but it dwindled off, they got wifes, husbands, families, made redundant, retired, etc and now theres only me and my mate Dave that still ride and we rarely go out at the same time. Ill have a word with him and another Dave whos retired, my names also David, no joke, we even used to ride with a fourth Dave, we decided the collective noun for Daves is a dodge of daves. Then see if we can get a date to have a poddle.
Keep smiling..
