I bought a fazer and it just wasn't running properly for me to find out there was a car sponge in the air filter not a happy bunny Not massively mechanically minded to change the OEM one, that just seems too difficult and I was told the K&M would be better for it.
£37 is very, very cheap.... Just be sure that it is not one of the counterfit ones that are coming in from China at the moment. They should be £44 thats what I sell them for in the shop (and thats with 10% off)
Yeah 48 is list price.... But there are alot of fake ones on the market at the moment, they look quite convincing... I have seen a few. If they are anything like the fake NGK spark plugs that flooded the market last year then I dread think what'll happen if one breaks up and goes into the carb or even gets as far as the valve. But giving them the benefit of the doubt they may well have some old stock
The Hi flo ones are not ill fitting they fit pretty much the same as the Yamaha own fit compared to the K&N ones are a very tight fit.... Its difficult to explain but if you work with filters all the time the moody K&N's don' t feel right in the hand, the mesh feels flimsy and the rubber section on the top just doesn't feel well finished
Hey!I fitted a K&N a few weeks back along with a new can. Ive noticed a big difference in fuel economy real easy to fit aswell!Welcome
Because your now running lean and the engine will eventually melt
