Crash Protection??
« on: 19 January 2012, 01:15:55 pm »
Any thoughts on best type of crash protection?
Bobbins, R&G etc,  Crash/Engine bars, Renntec?  or none!
Many thanks in advance for any thoughts! :D

Renntec bars all the way, most bungs/mushroom types for the Fazer can end up causing more damage then the spill  :eek

Bars are best thats why training schools use them but they look ugly and scream of newbie IMHO
Crash bung that go through the frame on a threaded bar are better than ones that use a bracket
If you are going to fix up your bike yourself I would look in to crash protection but if will claim for damage I would not bother
Its just a ride

I have the smaller lower half only crash bars (lower engine) that are just one bar and not the big ugly 3 piont things. Sort of a half way maybe wont help much in a big spill but good for others
I don't do rain or threat there of. dry rider only with no shame.
